"It was a nice cozy evening in Paris. After being fed soup and cheese by our gracious hosts Laurent and Eloise, we sat down and recorded a hinah session.
I always forget that my nerves get all shaken up when there are only a few listeners, when you can hear every creek from the floor boards and the evening birds chirping in the space between songs. Hopefully the nerves didnt seep into the songs too much.
I had a wonderful time and got to meet (and listen to ) some great folks.

"hinah session"
Début 2008, Shelley Short (chanteuse vivant à Portland, amie de M. Ward et des membres de Norfolk & Western et qui a sorti ses premiers albums chez KEEP Recordings et Hush Records - que de bonnes références !) nous contacte pour demander de l'aide : elle vient passer deux semaines de vacances à Paris et elle aimerait pouvoir y jouer. Grâce à notre camarade Erwan Broussine de Waterhouse Records, elle trouve une date au Pop In en compagnie de Brittain Ashford et Pollyanna. Présents à ce moment-là en France, nous en profitons pour organiser la première hinah session dans notre nouvel appartement parisien.
