"I borrowed a microphone, barely did a soundcheck and there I went. The VU-meter of my 4-track recorder didn't go into the red. Nor did it go into the green: it must have thought (so did I) that I wasn't playing loud enough. Well, bother! A few nights' recording later, the songs were on tape, with background noise due to my stubborn VU-meter. Night songs. Thanks to éloïse and Laurent for offering to make these tracks a hinahgift."
