hinah, which is a nonprofit association, was born in early 2001 with the aim to help and promote bands that we love.

The label puts out previously unreleased recordings (live recordings, radio sessions, demos...) in various formats:

- hinah series (as from hinah030): the recordings are available in the form of audio files (FLAC, MP3...). You can also download the accompanying sleeve, print it, fold it as indicated on the page of the album, and thus craft the object in which you can place the cd-r that you will have burned.
- hinah series (from 001 to 029): home-made cd-rs that come in only 50 copies, in a lovely package (see the description on the right column), and at a very low price,
- hinah split singles: mp3 split singles, downloadable for free, which feature two bands. We especially like to organize collaborations between artists with quite different musical backgrounds,
- hinah gifts: mp3 recordings, downloadable for free. Some of them are hinah sessions, ie acoustic sessions that take place at the hinah hq with whatever instruments are within reach (guitars, melodica, egg...).

The last part of our catalogue is dedicated to hinah collaborations, usually compilations made jointly with friendly or musically close labels.

CD-r

A cd-r with the name of the band, our logo and of course some music !

CD-case

A beautiful colour TRIMpak, CD Guard, CD-Bago or C-Shell: blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, or clear. Each release has its colour!

Booklet

A sheet of granular, rootsy paper, to make up for the groovy tones of the cd case. It contains the titles and information about the band.

Sleeve

All these ingredients come in a clear plastic sleeve.
